Shortly after having starred in a number of commercials and voice-over roles, Fishel began a professional acting career at the age of 10.
Her first role as a young actress would be that of Jennifer, a guest character in the hit series, centred around the life of protagonist, Cornellius “Cory” Mathews, who was played by actor Ben Savage.
He said: “Yesterday a guy came up next to me and said, excuse me, are you Danielle Fishel and I was like, YES!
I took a picture with him, and as he walked away my girlfriend said, I can’t believe he knew your real name and I told he probably Googled it right before he came up to me.'” Followingly, as Ben has kept his relationship underneath, his followers raised the question of his sexual orientation.
While portraying the character on the screen, the actors tend to blend with the character so well that the viewers often get confused with their screen relationship to be real.
Having worked with actress Danielle Fishel in the series of “Boy Meets World” aired on Disney Channel, Ben (Cory Matthews) and Danielle (Topanga Lawrence) had a long on-screen relationship where the regular viewers of the show had adapted the fact of their on-screen romance to be genuine. Ben married his on-screen love, Danielle Fishel (2013) After watching ups and down in the series for around seven years, the duo finally got married on the show and even came up with a sequel “Girl Meets World” as parents of a twelve-year-old daughter.
In 1991, at the age of 10, Fishel was discovered in a community theater where she performed in two productions, The Wizard of Oz and Peter Pan.
She quickly moved on to do voice-overs and commercials, including several as a Barbie Girl for Mattel.
Fishel also appears in National Lampoon's Dorm Daze and its sequel, and was a spokeswoman for Nutrisystem.
She is also a resident reporter on Pop Sugar, and their spin-off You Tube channel, Pop Sugar Girls Guide.
